Alex Guiteras, the designer behind Alexander Innes Designs, has worked on a variety of in-house brands at Kohl's specializing in pattern and graphic design. These brands include Tek Gear, FLX, Sonoma, Apt 9, Urban Pipeline, Simply Vera Vera Wang, and Sonoma Community and range from Men’s, Women’s, and Kid’s apparel.

As an Art Project Manager, Alex has created Diversity and Inclusion-specific artwork for Kohl’s in-house Diversity Equity and Inclusion brand, Sonoma Community. He has researched various diverse moments throughout the year (Pride, Black History Month, Hispanic Heritage Month, Asian American Native Hawaiian Pacific Islander History Month, Lunar New Year) and helped to concept boards alongside members of these communities. He has also art directed and managed meetings with various internal and external artists to create products for these specific moments.

As a Graphic Designer for HIS International, Alex has spent time creating licensed material for children for a variety of retailers such as TJMaxx, Burlington Coat Factory, Costco, and Target. He works cross-functionally with his designers as well as other artists throughout the company to make sure product is trend correct and factory ready.

As a part time role, Alex has also worked with a small entertainment business in his current city Charlotte, North Carolina as their graphic designer for all of their show’s advertisements.

Outside of work, Alex enjoys reading, walking his friends dogs and playing video games! He’s always open for new opportunities!
